FAQs

Q: Do we need to pay a deposit before the wedding or photoshoot?

A. Yes, please - there is a £200 deposit for weddings at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due one week before your wedding. Full payment is required for all other photoshoots one week before unless otherwise agreed.

Q. ‘What can we expect from our wedding coverage?’

A. It depends whether you book full or half-day coverage (see my services page for info). Key areas to consider when you book are:

  • Groom/Groomsmen preparations

  • Bride/Bridesmaids, preparations

  • Guests and Bride arriving at the wedding venue

  • Ceremony

  • Group photographs

  • Drinks reception

  • Wedding breakfast

  • Cutting of the cake

  • First dance and evening celebrations

Please let me know if you have any of your own suggestions or if there is something specific you would like to include

Q. ‘We're a bit nervous in front of the camera, what should we do?’

A. Isha Photography has a 'documentary' style and my aim is to be as spontaneous and natural as possible, smiles are always nice and I may intervene occasionally, but you most probably won't even notice me! One way to overcome the nerves is to have the pre-wedding photoshoot that I offer before your wedding, that way we get to know each other a bit more and you'll get a feel of how to be in front of the camera and fun too!

Q. ‘What can we expect from the pre-wedding photo shoot?’

A. The photo shoot usually lasts an hour and will be shot on location (weather permitting). If you have a specific place in mind, please suggest it beforehand. I will also let you view a selection of the best edited images and provide you with approximately 50 final images to download.

Q. 'Do we meet before the wedding if we don't have an engagement shoot?'

A. Yes, if you really don’t want a pre-wedding shoot, I always try to meet the couple a few times before the wedding at the venue to get to know each other and discuss the day in detail. I still meet the couple at the wedding venue if you don’t choose to have a pre-wedding shoot.

Q. ‘When can we expect to receive our pictures?’

A. I aim to have the online gallery ready for you within 4-6 weeks of your wedding. You can download the images straight to your computer and you can purchase a beautiful crystal USB which I will deliver shortly afterwards.

Q. ‘How many pictures will we receive?’

A. Again, it depends on what coverage you book and also the size of your wedding and if you have a second photographer. I usually provide between 350 - 550 images.

Q. ‘Can we share our pictures with friends and family and can they purchase prints?’

A. An online gallery of your pictures will be available for three months after your wedding and you can share the link with family and friends. A shop is also available to order prints in various sizes and finish and other print products. Please take a look at a sample gallery and shop here - LINK

Q. ‘We have a budget in mind, can you accommodate it?’

A. I am happy to discuss your budget and what I can offer you so please don't hesitate to contact me
